The brand-new Mannheim Master in Business Research (MMBR) is a consecutive Master’s degree program, culminating in the academic degree Master of Science (M.Sc.). The MMBR Marketing track is a quantitatively oriented program with a clear focus on quantitative marketing research. The program is ideal for

  • excellent students who would like to prepare for a structured PhD program at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business Research (CDSB), which is supported by the Excellence Initiative.
  • Bachelor graduates striving for a non-academic career in a quantitative area of business, finance, management or marketing.

All students are prepared optimally for an international career, both in the academic and non-academic field. The MMBR distinguishes itself through a strong and above average focus on research. The program offers an ideal preparation for a structured PhD program as offered by the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business. MMBR graduates can abbreviate the PhD program offered by the CDSB by one year and will use their Master thesis as a research proposal.

In good tradition we are honored to present the Teaching Award 2016. Every year it gets awarded to the professor, chair, or area that excels the most in its dedication towards students and teaching.

This year the award goes to Prof. Dr. Schreiber. On the basis of numerous nominations it became apparent that our students value his exceptional structured way of teaching. He manages to create an efficient learning environment during his lectures, which arouses enthusiasm among the student body and imparts sustainable knowledge.

We would like to congratulate Prof. Dr. Schreiber for this achievement and would like to wish him the very best for his further teaching and research programs here at the University of Mannheim.
