This year’s First-Year Student Weekend will take place according to the current pandemic regulations. Further information regarding the specific ESEF-schedule will follow soon!
The Master First-Year Student Weekend takes place in a castle in Heppenheim called “Starkenburg”. The location has been home to many First-Year Student Weekends in the past and is beyond perfect for an exciting few days together!
We will be the only group staying there on that particular weekend and thus have the best conditions for spending an exciting and pleasant weekend. This spectacular experience starts with a train trip with the whole group and a short walk up the hill to the castle. So don`t bring excessive luggage.
The Master First-Year Student Weekend is designed to help you with these first steps and also to forget about them sometimes. You will spend the whole weekend with around 80 first-year students from different origins and you will have a lot of opportunities of getting to know them during the fun activities or in your free time while sharing a drink or two. 😉
Additionally, some experienced Master students from different study areas look forward to getting to know you there and answering your questions about Master courses, study conditions and other topics of interest.
Registration will be open soon. You then will be able to register via the official registration form below. Please be aware that our capacities for the Master First-Year Student Weekend are limited and demand is unlimited. The selection of participants does not follow a “first come first served” principle but will be conducted with an automated draw. Thus, all students registering within the given time frame have equal possibilities of being selected. The registration will be active until September 3rd at 6 pm sharp. Whether you got one of the popular places will be announced by Saturday, September 4th latest. The costs of the trip will be announced at a later date.
We are looking forward to spending a great First-Year Student Weekend with you!
